Our Story

We first opened our doors in 2002 on historic Stone Street in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan. Our French Patisserie was named for both its Wall Street clientele and the classic French almond cake basked to resemble a bar of gold, a Financier.

Throughout the years Financier has been a go to destination for the finest quality pastries as well as a quick cafe breakfast & lunch. The Winter Park location was the first Financier to expand its menu offerings with a full scale bistro menu offering wine & champagne to compliment your lunch or dinner. 

Part restaurant, part bar, Financier combines the elegance of a comfortable café with the casual nature of a neighborhood eatery. It is a light-filled space for a long lunch of shared dishes or the perfect spot for a late-night dinner perfectly complemented with our wonderful wine list.
